Franchise Services Turns to Four51 for eCommerce Network

Press release from the issuing company

Minneapolis, Minnesota, August 2, 2005 -- Four51, the leading e-solution in the print supply chain and Franchise Services, Inc., parent company of Sir Speedy and PIP Printing & Document Services today announced an agreement that provides Franchise Services the ability to deploy Four51’s eCommerce network. The partnership will bring Four51’s streamlined print purchasing solution to Sir Speedy and PIP locations nationwide and to their customers giving them the ability to order, print and manage both static and variable-data printed materials, securely from any user’s desktop. “Four51 was selected due to the maturity of the technology, breadth of their network, and adherence to standards,” said Richard Lowe, senior vice president at Franchise Services, Inc. “In addition, when implemented through our Sir Speedy and PIP networks, our franchises can now offer their customers highly sophisticated buying experiences, storefronts and eCatalogs for ordering any printed product online.” Four51 provides a network-based eCommerce solution that allows print providers an easy way to extend their value-added services to include variable-data, digital printing and other commerce based programs. To offer these programs, FSI franchisees will configure a vast array of product template options, transaction permissions and reporting capabilities that allow their customers to decentralize order processing, while maintaining centralized purchasing and brand control.
