July 22, 2005 -- Suttle-Straus, Waunakee based communications company, has announced the appointment of Ted Straus to the newly created position of Vice-President/Chief Operating Officer for the company. In this capacity, Ted will be responsible for all manufacturing operations throughout the organization.
Ted has had an increasing number of responsibilities during his career. After graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology, he came home to work in the family printing business. He played a key role in the conversion to Electronic Prepress and Computer to Plate technology, in both its first and second generations. He also led the implementation of color management for the company. After the combination of the two companies, he played a key role in the development of its digital and web enabled solutions.
