Hainburg, Germany (July 18, 2005) -- In a move underscoring its industry leadership position, CGS Publishing Technologies International today announced the appointment of Heiner Müller as Executive Sales Director for Europe and the Middle East. Müller was Director of Sales and Marketing for GMG GmbH & Co. KG. Previously, he was the Business Development Manager and then International Sales Director for Dalim Software in Kehl, Germany.
Müller brings a high level of industry knowledge and sales expertise to CGS. Earlier, he worked extensively with pioneering prepress technology companies, including Krause, IRIS Graphics and Scitex.
What Influenced the Decision
The strength of the ORIS color workflow products was a key factor in Müller’s decision. “Today’s customers are not looking for isolated proofing products any more, but for a complete color workflow solution, automating all aspects of color management,” he said. “The CGS product portfolio is ideally suited to answer these needs, and I am excited to be working in such a dynamic environment in the future.”
“We are delighted to welcome Heiner to the CGS organization” said Andreas Kämmerer, President & COO. “His extensive industry knowledge, and his rapport with resellers and customers, will further fuel our rapid growth in the proofing and color managed workflow markets. We are happy he has chosen CGS to strengthen his vision for the future of color imaging.”
Müller will be responsible for overseeing business development and sales within CGS’ growing network of ORIS resellers and system integrators throughout Europe and the Middle East. He will also work with resellers and customers implementing the award-winning ORIS Color Tuner proofing environment, as well as CGS’ new integrated soft proofing, enterprise-level proofing management and high-end ORIS workflow systems.
