Press release from the issuing company

PALO ALTO, Calif., July 12, 2005 – HP today announced that Shutterfly, the leading independent digital photo products and services company, will be among the featured customers at the HP Indigo Digital Printing Spotlight event on July 26-27 in Redwood City and Palo Alto, California. Chosen for its innovative uses of HP Indigos and superior quality output, Shutterfly will demonstrate to current and prospective HP customers how to successfully transform business environments and increase profits. Shutterfly joins a prominent list of top commercial printing companies that will be guest speakers at the event, including Cenveo, Lavigne, R and R Images, and Taylor Publishing. Event participants will get a behind-the-scenes tour of HP’s R&D Labs, see HP Indigo press 5000 demonstrations, and speak with HP Labs researchers working on future color imaging technologies for HP Indigo presses. In addition, sessions will include a discussion on today’s software solutions for web-to-print and variable data printing, and sales training for digital print, provided by printing executives from across the country as well as training from some of the best consultants in the industry. “This is a great venue for networking as well as getting useful information like sales tips for digital print solutions,” said Michelle Morris, of RBA Printing, who attended the Atlanta Digital Spotlight Event in June. “HP has put together an interesting program that addresses issues and challenges that will help make our business a success.” HP began the HP Digital Printing Spotlight Event series in March 2005 and has included the participation of such companies as Award/Vision, Strategic Content Imaging (SCI), Rastar and LaVigne Inc. These print service providers share details of their experiences with online collateral management systems, the production of variable data programs with large enterprise clients and successful business transformations. “As a leader in commercial digital printing, HP continues to enable print service providers and their customers to offer the quality of offset printing combined with the benefits of digital technology,” said George Mulhern, Senior VP, Enterprise Imaging and Printing (EIP), HP. “The Spotlight seminars provide HP partners with an opportunity to share the impact that HP’s printing solutions bring to their business.”
