Standard Register Goes Global With Its ExpeData Digital Writing Solution
Press release from the issuing company
DAYTON, Ohio, July 5 -- Standard Register's ExpeData Digital Writing Solution is available for hosting by partners globally, enabling select international companies to print uniquely patterned digital paper locally and host the Application Service Provider (ASP) technology in their respective countries. Print Media Group (PMG), Australia, a member of Standard Register's Global Print Network program, is the first international company to host the ExpeData Digital Writing Solution.
ExpeData provides all of the tools, methodology and knowledge-transfer that enable an organization to implement and support a digital writing infrastructure. This infrastructure provides clients with a turnkey solution for acquiring and maintaining a digital writing client base. Additionally, Standard Register's ExpeData team will assist with the sales, marketing, implementation, support and business development of a complete, end-to-end digital writing solution.
In addition to hosting the ASP in Australia, PMG has committed to purchase the ExpeData Print Solution. This provides them with the key components for unique pattern production, including hardware, quality control devices for testing pattern, installation, training, documentation, support and pre- certification to pass the highest level of digital print standards established by Swedish technology company Anoto.
"PMG is excited to bring the power of advanced digital writing to Australia," said Leo Moio, managing director, Print Media Group. "Working with the ExpeData turnkey solution will enable us to rapidly deploy not only the printing of uniquely patterned documents, but also the processing through local hosting of the ExpeData Digital Writing ASP. ExpeData's unique pattern solution gives us a distinct competitive advantage over other, less sophisticated, digital writing alternatives."
Standard Register's ExpeData Digital Solutions are focused on improving business processes through the use of digital pen and paper technology. Leveraging our expertise in business process analysis, forms design and digital printing, our goal is to help companies migrate from paper to digital, at an affordable price, without disrupting the way people work.
"We've made a significant investment in our print methodology and Digital Writing software with the goal of making it easy for our partners to deploy digital-writing quickly and efficiently in their respective markets," said Doug Patterson, Standard Register's vice president and general manager, ExpeData Digital Solutions. "We are excited about our relationship with PMG and look forward to helping them grow their business."
