Mohawk Launches New Promotion on Navajo: Keep in Touch

Press release from the issuing company

[Cohoes, NY] – Mohawk Paper Mills, Inc. releases a new promotion: Keep in Touch — A Handbook for Communication in the 21st Century on Navajo. The medium sized booklet looks at an assortment of non-verbal communication systems including those of species other than our own. Even in today’s technologically advanced world, the most evolved communication systems remain those that involve the five senses. Keep in Touch appeals immediately to the sense of touch with the unparalleled smoothness of Mohawk Navajo. And, with Mohawk’s patented Inxwell process giving Navajo its high ink hold-out and superior printability, the colorful and detailed photography entertains the sense of sight. The promotion, designed by New York-based Heller Communications, is a roll and fold bound book produced on Mohawk Navajo Brilliant White, 180 dtc, 130 dtc, 90 lb. cover and 110 lb. text and printed by Lithographix, Inc. in Los Angeles using 4/color process plus a series of match colors. “The Keep In Touch promotion beautifully showcases the extraordinary performance abilities of Navajo, and something about the size of the book and the feel of Navajo makes you want to keep holding it,” says Laura Shore, Mohawk’s Vice President, Marketing Communications.
