Agfa and PaperlinX Display Europe Sign Inkjet Distribution Agreement for Europe

Munich, Germany – FESPA – 31 May 2005 – PaperlinX Display Europe and Agfa announced a European agreement today for the sales, marketing and distribution of Agfa's industrial wide-format inkjet systems, inks and media. This includes Agfa's :Grand Sherpa range as well as the new :Anapurna 100 system launched here at Fespa. The two companies will also work together to identify synergies in other media supplies. "This agreement presents a unique opportunity in the industry," said Jan Van Daele, vice-president in charge of Agfa's Inkjet Business Solutions. "There are tangible benefits for users in the sign, display and screen printing markets: they will have access to the imaging and application expertise of Agfa's inkjet technology through the One Stop Shop service approach of a leading paper distributor such as PaperlinX."
