Mimeo.com Names Adam Slutsky as Chief Executive Officer

Press release from the issuing company

New York, (June 1, 2005) - Mimeo.com, the leading provider of Documents On Demand, today introduced Adam Slutsky, former AOL executive and co-founder of Moviefone, Inc., as its new Chief Executive Officer. Slutsky brings nearly 20 years of experience in creating products and services based on interactive technologies and building them into successful businesses and well known brands. Slutsky's first order of business is to extend Mimeo.com's leading position in online document printing, binding, and delivery. When it launched in 2000, Mimeo.com created the first online product to enable businesses to print, bind, and deliver documents overnight, straight from the desktop. Since then, thousands of businesses that need high-quality documents delivered on demand have learned to depend on Mimeo.com every day. "He's done it before and he'll do it again," said Tim Draper, founder and Managing Director of Draper, Fisher, Jurvetson, one of the leading investors in Mimeo.com. "Adam is the perfect match for us. Mimeo has built an incredible service that is changing the way professionals print documents. With Slutsky at the helm we know Mimeo will soon become a household name." Slutsky commented, "Mimeo reminds me of Moviefone. The Mimeo team created a time-saving, easy-to-use, 'how-did-I-ever-live-without-it' experience for printing documents. Simply put, Mimeo is the best way to print documents -- online and without the kinks." Mimeo's Chairman, Jeff Stewart added, "Adam has the right blend of experience as a visionary, technologist, and marketer. He understands how innovative thinking and technology can be combined to offer unprecedented levels of convenience and cost-savings. First with Moviefone, and then at AOL, he created and built innovative services that we now can't live without." Slutsky continued, "Before Mimeo created the online print category, the way the world printed and distributed documents was extremely inefficient and painful. Everyone has a horror story that includes late-night collating, running in and out of buildings, and speeding through red lights to get to the shipper on time. Mimeo enables anyone to print, bind, and ship documents with the click of a mouse and without having to leave one's desk. It is that easy. Printing, binding, and shipping documents at the office or at the corner copy shop will soon be a thing of the past." Prior to joining Mimeo.com Slutsky was a co-founder of Moviefone, the country's leading movie information and ticketing service. As Moviefone's Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer from its inception, Slutsky led Moviefone through its IPO to its subsequent sale to AOL for $550 million in 1999. At AOL, Slutsky was most recently Senior Vice President, leading the company's Advanced Services activities.
