Jim Melton and Mike Popp Join the Web Offset Society

May 19, 2005 -- Jim Melton, retired Vice President of Press Technology and retired President of CRT, and Mike Popp, Vice President of Press Operations, were inducted to the prestigious Web Offset Society at a ceremony on April 30 as part of the Web Offset Association’s (WOA) 53rd annual conference in Grapevine, Texas.
The Web Offset Society was chartered in 1995 by the WOA, a special industry group of Printing Industries of America, Inc. The mission of the society is to recognize and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the web offset industry, provide to WOA a group of industry executives who have been very active in WOA, and to promote the interchange of ideas and take advantage of this body of knowledge for the further advancement and development of WOA.
Since the society was founded in 1995, a total of 75 individuals have been inducted. Past inductees from Quad include Harry Quadracci, Sr., Harry V. Quadracci, Tom Quadracci and Ed Kelley.
