CPI Acquires RGC Communications, A Leading iGen3 User

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL -- The CPI Organization is pleased to announce the achievement of another milestone in the implementation of their strategic plan. They have acquired the assets and expertise of RGC Communications of Roselle, Illinois. RGC is a leader in the digital print arena and is one of the top 5 Xerox Igen3 users in the world. With the combined expertise in high quality commercial printing and prepress, personalized digital printing and interactive web design, print on demand, fulfillment, intelligent mailing and other value added services, the CPI Organization now has the most extensive full service print media capabilities in the Chicago area. Over the past 40 years, the CPI Organization has earned a reputation for providing high quality sheet fed printing and print services through their Consolidated Press (CPI) and Industrial Bindery divisions. CPI was one of the first printing companies to become ISO certified and has been nominated by Graphic Arts Monthly as “one of the best sheetfed printers in the Midwest”. CPI has been a leader and innovator in the marketplace being the first to introduce waterless printing, to perfect Stochastic screening and Hexachrome printing, to develop a fully digital prepress department and direct computer to plate capabilities They have also developed and introduced an advanced method of printing called Vibra-Color. CPI conducts a number of educational seminars on providing print solutions and they offer their customers a wide variety of printing options with their Komori 40 inch, 8 color perfector presses.
