Oce Appoints Two Marketing Directors as Wide Format Printing Systems Division Evolves to Address New Market Needs
Press release from the issuing company
CHICAGO, May 3 -- Oce, a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, announces the appointment of Penelope Holland, 35, to Director, Business Development, Technical Document Systems (TDS) Marketing, and Francis Fay, 38, to Director, Marketing Services - two newly created positions within the Oce Wide Format Printing Systems division of Oce North America, Inc. Both directors will report to the recently appointed Vice President, Marketing, Sal Sheikh. In addition to his continuing marketing responsibilities for Oce Display Graphics Systems, Mr. Sheikh is restructuring the Oce Wide Format Printing Systems division marketing team to meet changing customer needs in the large format technical document marketplace.
The creation of these new roles will meet the growing market demand for comprehensive, "single source" solutions that address total technical document workflow. Ms. Holland will integrate hardware, software and professional services to provide more complete solutions across the entire Oce Technical Document Systems (TDS) digital printing product portfolio. Mr. Fay will focus on vertical market and partner applications that promote more integrated solutions for customers. He will also oversee vertical and reseller channel marketing programs that support these solutions, including website initiatives, sales training and sales force automation tools.
"Our customers are under increasing pressure to do more with less. They want reliable, robust systems that not only are easy-to-use but also have a measurable impact on improving large format document workflow and print job management productivity," Mr. Sheikh commented. "Ms. Holland and Mr. Fay, along with the rest of the Oce Wide Format Printing Systems organization, will help spearhead new initiatives to provide integrated hardware, software, and service solutions that serve our customers' needs throughout all phases of technical document production."
Ms. Holland began her career with Oce in 1999 as an analyst in the Wide Format Printing Systems Business Controlling group. Since 2000, Ms. Holland has served as Product Marketing Manager for the low volume product portfolio, successfully launching and managing products including the Oce 9300, TDS300, TDS400 and TCS400. For nine years prior to joining Oce, Ms. Holland held various financial positions at Xerox. She received an undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management with concentrations in Marketing and Decision Science.
Mr. Fay has been with the Oce Wide Format Printing Systems division for more than 10 years, with experience in sales and product marketing management. He was formerly Director, Product Marketing, for Oce high-volume printers and software systems, successfully managing the popular Oce 9800, TDS600 and TDS800 printers and Repro Desk and Oce Engineering Exec print management software. Prior to Oce, Mr. Fay served in sales and management positions at Canon USA. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and English.
