Xerox Names Standard Finishing Systems Reseller Finishing Partner Of The Year
Press release from the issuing company
ANDOVER, MA, April 28, 2005 -- Standard Finishing Systems has been honored by Xerox Corporation as the “2004 Reseller Finishing Partner of the Year" – for the second year in a row – and they also received a "2004 Service / Support Partner of the Year" award. Presented for excellence in sales achievement and service support, these awards recognize the significant contribution of Xerox partners to the Xerox production systems business.
"Standard and Horizon’s contributions in 2004 were key to helping Xerox achieve our annual partnership sales objectives while increasing customer satisfaction with excellent service support," said Fred DeBolt, vice president of color product systems, Xerox Production Systems Group.
Standard offers a range of in-line and off-line feeding and finishing solutions in cooperation with Xerox, but the award was based primarily on the outstanding worldwide success of the Standard Horizon ColorWorks 2000 in-line bookletmaker for the popular Xerox DocuColor 5252, 2060, and 6060 Digital Color Press.
“Standard shares these awards with Horizon International, our partner in Japan, who had the engineering vision and expertise to develop an innovative all-in-one finishing solution for digital production color,” said David Reny, vice president and managing director, Standard Finishing Systems. “Horizon engineering, Xerox color printing technology, and Standard’s comprehensive sales, marketing, and service support are a winning combination for customers.”
The ColorWorks 2000 performs scoring, bleed trimming, stitching, folding, face trimming and stacking, all in-line, with end-to-end system automation and touchscreen control. The complete system is the first to fulfill the promise of a turnkey color print and finish on demand solution for in-plant and graphic arts production.
Standard Finishing Systems has been a Xerox Finishing Partner since 1992, offering a range of paper handling and finishing solutions that compliment Xerox black-and-white and color printers and presses. Solutions range from Hunkeler unwinders and cutters for continuous-feed printers, to in-line and off-line Horizon bookletmakers and perfect binders. Horizon has worked closely with Xerox on a global basis with product development projects, marketing and field technical support.
The awards were recently presented to Standard Finishing Systems and Horizon International in Rochester, New York.
