Press release from the issuing company

April 22, 2005 -- Suttle-Straus, Waunakee communications provider, won top honors recognizing outstanding achievement in the fifth annual 2005 Graphics Excellence Awards, a statewide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industries of Wisconsin, the state’s trade association for print-ing and graphic arts. Competing against 715 entries from printing firms across the state, Suttle-Straus garnered the Best of Show for a promotional piece pro-duced for Tri-Coastal Enterprises of Austin, Texas. In addition to the top honors, the company received Best of Category for seven other pieces representing a variety of products. The awards were presented at an April 21 gala gathering of over 320 industry members held at The Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee. “We are extremely proud of our winning team,” said John Berthelsen, President, “It is a real achievement to be recognized as a company whose employees produce top quality, award winning materials for our clients.” The company also garnered Best of Show in the 2002 compe-tition, now making it the only repeat winner in the competition’s history. Entries were judged on technical printing excellence by a judging panel of printers, buyers, and ad agency executives. Niall Power, PIW’s president stated “This was a great competition with a very im-pressive standard of entries. The piece selected as Best of Show was an outstanding example of superb printing. Suttle-Straus should be very proud of their company’s achievement and the excellent work done by their employees.” The Graphic Excellence Awards recognize those responsible for the creation and production of print communications in Wisconsin. The competition promotes excellence in print communications and rewards companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.
