Press release from the issuing company

Reston, VA – Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC) announced today that in the last two weeks the exhibit space sales at the west coast’s premier industry tradeshow, GUTENBERG & DIGITAL OUTLOOK, have grown by over 20 percent. The event’s growth is a clear indication of the recognized value of the show, held this year for the first time in the Los Angeles Convention Center, Los Angeles, California, April 28 – 30, 2005. With the addition of nearly 25 new exhibitors, with names like Hewlett Packard, Kodak Versamark, L.A. Salazar, Rollem Corporation of America, Mail Right, Inc., Microtech Graphics, Technifold, USA, Universal Laser and XpresScreen Inc., the floor has grown substantially, reflecting a recognition by suppliers that the event provides the ROI manufacturers insist upon before committing marketing dollars. “GUTENBERG & DIGITAL OUTLOOK has always offered value to both exhibitors and attendees alike, and the West Coast offers a myriad of opportunities for suppliers, especially those in the digital space,” noted Regis J. Delmontagne, President of GASC, the show’s producer. Attendees visiting the event can expect to see displays of all sizes and styles, with more of the suppliers focusing on their digital products than ever before. Software for workflow, image capture and manipulation, image and digital asset management, pre-flighting and repairing PDF files, and much more will be on display, alongside equipment for traditional offset sheetfed and digital printing, post-press bindery and finishing equipment and supplies, and a wide range of supplies and substrates, inks and other consumables. Special educational sessions have been created as well, with over 15 of them focused on digital technology, including sponsored sessions with introductions by Hewlett Packard and Xinet. Sessions on topics related to technology, management, sales and business trends offer the broadest range of information available in the western U.S. With over 8,000 print and digital professionals expected to attend, solutions to business and digital challenges will abound at the annual west coast gathering. More information on the west coast’s premier printing event can be found at www.gutenberganddigitaloutlook.com, including online registration, hotel information, current listing of exhibitors, seminar sessions speakers, times and descriptions and much more.
