Founder To Demonstrate Its Latest Pre-Press Solutions At China Print 05
Press release from the issuing company
Beijing –14th April 2005: Founder Electronics (www.founder.com.cn) has today announced that at China Print (Beijing, May 11 to 15) it will be releasing more innovative pre-press software products to its global markets outside of China.
These include its sophisticated SuperLine security pattern generation software, now also able to create low-resolution hidden images. This means that it is now possible to put a hidden security pattern in documents produced, for example, by an office digital printer or multi-function device. When photocopied, a background message such as “Illegal Copy” will become clearly visible. SuperLine security can be used to limit unauthorized copying and distribution of sensitive documents such as legal and medical records.
Being previewed at China Print will be e-Pack, Founder’s packaging solution that allows complex 3D shapes and boxes to be designed and previewed using easy-to-use software. Together with SuperLine, users may also build anti-counterfeiting security into the original package design, rather than bear the cost of an additional process.
Since first launching its JDF enable ElecRoc workflow software in 2002, Founder has been busy simplifying its operation, while also creating different versions to suit different applications and budgets, from simple one output device software up to an enterprise-wide solution. Founder ElecRoc is utilized in daily production as part of Founder’s EasiPrint print shop franchise operations within China. EasiPrint has opened over 100 franchise operations within its first year. Founder will also demonstrate a new workflow being developed for small to medium-size newspapers.
In addition, the latest enhancements to Founder’s successful EagleRIP technology will also be shown. Founder EagleRIP is also implemented in an embedded OEM print controller version for digital printers and multifunction peripherals. The embedded OEM version is being enhanced to also include variable data functionality. Together with Founder’s flexible pre- and post- RIP color proofing software, Founder provides solutions for the pre-press and digital printer markets.
The international section of Founder’s massive booth in Hall 1 at China Print ‘05 will focus on showing its international re-seller partners these latest offerings, as well as to discuss potential partner opportunities with OEM and re-seller channels.
China Print 2005, the sixth Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition, will be the largest printing exhibition ever held in China and it is fast becoming an important event in the printing industry’s international calendar.
