Southern Litho appoints Director of Research & Development

April 12, 2005. Wake Forest, NC: Southern Lithoplate, announces Dr. Josh Goodin as Director of Research & Development. “Josh brings years of hands-on lithoplate development, commercialization, and manufacturing expertise to his leadership role in product development. His objective is to fully harness the portfolio of lithoplate intellectual properties and the manufacturing capacities we have established in our Wake Forest, North Carolina campus,” stated Edward A. “Trip” Casson, CEO Southern Lithoplate. Educated at Leicester University in England, Josh Goodin obtained his PhD in 1981. He worked as a scientist at Ciba-Geigy before joining DuPont in 1985. His in-depth research experience on materials for the electronics industry, the flexographic business, and offset plates led Josh to Creo in 1998 where he created and developed an R&D group working on consumable products. More recently, since 2003, Josh served as Corporate R & D Director of Lastra/Americas.
