Press release from the issuing company
Baltimore, Md. (April 4, 2005) – Vertis today announces the introduction of the Scent-SationalTM Cosmetic Label, a competitively-priced sampling alternative for cosmetic or personal care products.
“Vertis’ high-quality, functional product is part of a complete range of marketing capabilities and services that bring clients a higher return on their investment,” said Diane Crecca, vice president of fragrance sales and evaluation for Vertis.
“Marketers who incorporate the Scent-SationalTM Cosmetic Label to their campaign, will not only receive an attractive label sampling packet, but will also have access to Vertis’ targeted marketing strategies, innovative creative services and comprehensive production capabilities, which drive sales and increase ROI,” said George Lane, Vertis group vice president of fragrance.
Through this new line of cosmetic labels, manufacturers will be able to make fragrances, emollients, creams, lotions, liquid foundations, cream foundations, concealers, liquid blushes, bronzers, skin treatments, and sunscreen products more accessible to consumers. Furthermore, the
labels will be designed and produced to be included in newspapers, magazines, catalogs, package inserts and as in-store samples to ensure the products are reaching a wide audience through the most effective media.
“Although technological changes in production have improved the overall quality of the fragrance and cosmetic sampler, this is still a business that relies heavily on experience and relationships between marketers, retailers, suppliers/producers and supply chain partners,” added Lane. “Vertis has the network of experts and strategic resources to create powerful sampling programs for our clients.”
In addition to Scent-SationalTM Cosmetic Label, Vertis offers a wide range of services to assist companies in their advertising and marketing efforts including: fragrance sampling insert products; multi-scent sampling strips; and scented, temporary tattoos.
