Ricoh Demonstrates Product Offerings and Solutions at AIIM On Demand 2005

Press release from the issuing company

PHILADELPHIA, May 17 -- Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, is showcasing a vast array of hardware and software solutions that help to manage and optimize document workflow today at AIIM On Demand 2005 in Philadelphia. The show will run May 17-19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center and Ricoh will be located at Booth # 2224. The process of scanning hard documents, converting them into electronic files and then storing them for easy retrieval can often be a time consuming and expensive task. Knowing the frustrations users can experience, Ricoh will be presenting the streamlining, time-saving capabilities of several of its enterprise-class document capture and management solutions, such as GlobalScan(TM) and DocumentMall(TM). In addition, Ricoh will be showcasing the Ricoh ScanRouter EX ENT and ScanRouter DS, supporting software for network scanning, TWAIN scanning and industry standard capture applications. Working in tandem with many of the software solutions, Ricoh will exhibit several of its black and white MFPs such as the Aficio(R) 2105, Aficio 2045eSP, Aficio 2051, Aficio 2060 and Aficio 2075. All the devices are monochrome high performance, multifunctional digital imaging systems with the ability to print, scan, fax and copy as well as communicate with document management routing solutions. There will also be several color MFPs and a laser printer on display including the Aficio 3260C, Aficio 3224C, Aficio CL7300 and Aficio CL4000DN. The solutions provided by these devices range from those designed to satisfy the needs of the entry-level user with convenient color features to the experienced user with more advanced production quality and security features. Included in Ricoh's "Black to Color" (B2C) portfolio, these MFPs enable users to Scan-to-Email/Folder/FTP. Additionally, the Aficio CL4000DN color laser printer can also provide these functions by connecting to a peripheral scanning device. From Ricoh's suite of wide format products, it will be holding demonstrations of the Aficio 240W, an "all-in-one" -- copy, print and scan -- wide format system designed for low-volume, high quality production. As for high-end digital duplicators, Ricoh will be showcasing its Priport JP8500, a printing solution which offers professional quality prints at the speed of 120 pages per minute. For those in central reprographics departments and print- for-pay environments, the Ricoh GBC StreamPunch(R), a solution that combines punching and printing in one single process, will be demonstrated. StreamPunch is compatible with the Ricoh Aficio 2051, 2060, 2075 and 2105, among others. "A hands-on demonstration is the best way for customers to understand the superior capabilities of Ricoh's suite of products and solutions, and we are pleased that AIIM On Demand provides us with this visual opportunity," said Hede Nonaka, vice president of marketing, Ricoh Corporation. "Whether a customer is seeking effective document management solutions for a small office or a large scale corporate environment, Ricoh will have a product or solution on-site that will meet their needs."
