Scott Bowman Joins X-Rite as Graphic Arts Category Director

GRANDVILLE, Mich.--March 10, 2005-- X-Rite today announced the appointment of Scott Bowman as Category Director for the Graphic Arts business. In this role, Bowman will be responsible for the global strategic direction for all areas of the business, including graphic design, photo, on-demand, prepress, and printing. "We are very pleased to have Scott Bowman as part of our senior X-Rite team," said James Weaver, X-Rite's Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. "Scott is a senior marketing and business development executive who brings broad-based, global experience in marketing, sales operations, and business development from industry-leading technology firms. His experience will play a critical role in the continued development and growth of our global graphic arts business." Prior to joining X-Rite, Bowman was with Siebel Systems, Incorporated, where he held multiple leadership positions of increasing responsibility in marketing, channel development, sales management, sales operations and product marketing. He led the Business Development team, North American Channel Sales team, and Global Channel Operations team for Siebel's Global Channels organization. Later, as Group Director, Worldwide Sales Operations for Siebel, he developed sales deployment models, led vertical market expansion initiatives, drove technology rollouts, and led sales process re-design efforts globally. Prior to Siebel Systems, Bowman held multiple sales management roles with Lanier Worldwide and NetSuite. Bowman holds an MBA in management strategy and finance from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Bowman received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Cedarville University in Ohio.
