Toyo Ink Group Announces Overview of drupa booth

Tokyo, Japan April 21, 2008 -- Toyo Ink Manufacturing Co., Ltd. announced today that it will be exhibiting a variety of high-quality, high-performance products, such as printing inks and next-generation printing materials targeting the European marketplace at drupa 2008, the international graphic arts show (held May 29 – June 11, 2008, in Düsseldorf, Germany).

The following is a list of products that will be exhibited in the Toyo Ink Group’s booth at drupa 2008.

Products Outlines

Sheet-fed process ink featuring a wide range of color rendering Kaleido Ink Series Range of oil-based, aqualess, UV curable inks that cover almost the full Adobe RGB color gamut with just four colors but enable sufficient color reproductivity to rival six- or seven- color printing.

Electrically conductive silver paste inks

REXALPHA Series Compatible with a range of printing processes, REXALPHA offers improved compatibility with small lot printing and is more environmentally harmonized than conventional etching. Can be used not only FPC materials and RFID antennas, but also on EMI shields as well.

LED-UV curable inks

FD LED Series UV curable sheet-fed offset inks hard dried within the ultraviolet range given off by LEDs, enabling stability, long life and reduced power consumption through UV irradiation.

UV curable inks

FD Carton ACE, etc. Range of UV curable offset inks offering superior printability, halftone reproductivity and adhesiveness on various materials, available for papers, general purpose and plastics.

Offset ink products for the European marketplace

Wide range of offset ink products lined up for the European marketplace, from general purpose to high-end products, including UV curable inks, hybrid UV curable inks, aqualess inks and over print varnishes; offers support for Pantone Color and other intermediate colors as well as process colors.

Environmentally harmonized gravure inks: AQUAECOL Series and LIOVALUE Series

Range of two types of urethane-based gravure lamination ink for flexible packaging, the water-based AQUAECOL and the toluene-free MEK-free LIOVALUE, both of which can be applied to suit different materials and performance requirements.

Laminating adhesives: DYNAGRAND Series

High-performance, highly durable laminating adhesives ideal for materials such as film and foil and heat/moisture resistant enough to be used outdoors.

Water-based and oil-based flexographic inks: AQUA LIONA, etc.

8 kinds of Toyo Ink’s flexographic inks suitable for various different uses, offering superior printability on paper and film, including laminated uses.

Inkjet inks: LIOJET Series

Range of high-performance inkjet inks offering superior properties such as stretchability, film strength and minimal odor.

Low-temperature film formable silver nanoparticles

LIOMETAL Silver nanoparticles that enable the formation of conductive films quickly at low temperatures; working on expanding applications into FPC materials, RFID antennas, EMI shields and plating alternatives given nanoparticles’ and they are IJ coating capabilities.

Marking films: DYNACAL Series

Range of marking films in an extensive variety of colors, offering superior weather resistance and workability.

Adhesives for optical devices: LIO OPTO Series

Range of acrylic, polyurethane and polyester adhesives for FPD, offering superior durability and light leaking resistance.

Specialty pigments: LIONOGEN Series

Specialty pigments that facilitate and improve the stability of dispersion using free particle control technology and our unique surface treatment technology; working on expanding applications as raw materials for IJ inks.
