February 25, 2008 - Mohawk Fine Papers is sponsoring "An Evening with Dr. Joe Webb: What Lies Ahead for the Graphic Communications Industry" to be held on Wednesday, February 27 by the Printing Industries Alliance of Long Island. The evening event will be at the Unqua Corinthian Yacht Club in Amityville, Long Island, NY.

Dr. Webb, director of WhatTheyThink.com's Economic and Research Center and is one of the industry's best known consultants, forecasters and commentators. He will discuss future economic, technological and customer relations issues, and how they will affect graphic communications businesses in the coming years.
His presentation will feature printing industry, print buyer and content creation forecasts through 2012 from national and local perspectives; discuss what needs to be done to thrive and not just survive in the current economy; management and strategy pitfalls to avoid; getting your business ready for the next wave of technology and communications shifts; and building better relationships with customers to avoid the margin squeeze.
Following his presentation will be an interactive panel discussion among Dr. Webb, Joseph Benty (Director of Marketing Communications for Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, PC), and Walter Sosnowski (Strategic Sourcing Specialist for Print Promotional Products, AllianceBernstein, LLP).
The program, which is sponsored by Mohawk Fine Papers, Inc., begins with a cash bar/networking reception at 5:30, dinner at 6:30, presentation with Dr. Webb (7:30), interactive panel discussion (8:30), and 9:30 pm conclusion. Cost per individual is $35 (includes presentation, handouts and dinner).
