DENVER-November 22, 2004-Quark Inc. announced today that it has entered an agreement to license its creative communications management technology to DPCI, a New York-based professional services firm that delivers customized technology solutions for organizations that need to publish to multiple media.
Under the OEM program, partners gain access to powerful Quark technologies that can be used to develop industry solutions to solve specific business needs of customers, in less time for less money. DPCI is acclaimed in enterprise application integration of multi-channel publishing solutions with ERP, CMS, CRM and other mission-critical applications, making them a natural partner to tailor technologies for additional Fortune 1000 customers.
"We are proud that Quark products have provided the underpinning for DPCI's multi-channel publishing solutions," said Kamar Aulakh, president and CEO of Quark. "DPCI excels in online collaborative publishing solutions-their products allow clients to be productive wherever they are. This is one of the goals of OEM-sharing knowledge to make our customers more successful."
"Quark has made a momentous decision to license core technologies for technology service providers like DPCI to embed into our customers' applications," said Joseph Bachana, president and CEO of DPCI. "With products like Quark Dynamic Document Server and Quark Data Integration Toolkit, we can better meet our customers' needs for multi-channel publishing solutions at an affordable price point, integrated with their existing technology investments."
DPCI developed JiffyPub Dynamic Document Server, a modular WebTop publishing application powered by Quark Dynamic Document Server. Additionally, DPCI develops XTensions for Quark Publishing System and Quark Digital Media Server, including MQ XT, Report XT and RoundTripper XT.
DPCI has been a premier partner of Quark for five years, implementing and supporting Quark's enterprise technologies and developing extensible solutions for the multi-channel publishing market.
