Quickcut names Dean Benjamin Executive VP North America

Los Angeles, CA; November 18, 2004 – Quickcut, a leading international provider of digital production workflow solutions, today announced it has appointed Dean Benjamin Executive Vice President of its North American operations. Mr. Benjamin is responsible for all marketing, sales and customer support functions in North America, including national accounts. Mr. Benjamin brings to his new post more than 25 years of experience in graphic communications, manufacturing automation and telephony. Prior to joining Quickcut, he was a consultant to one of the “Top Ten” global advertising agencies on digital advertising workflow issues. He co-founded and served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Blue Nile Technology, a web-based provider of ad solutions to ad agencies and corporate marketing departments from 1999 to 2004, and served as Director of Strategic Marketing for Wace USA from 1995 to 1999. Prior to that, Mr. Benjamin founded and served as President of Pacific Images, which was involved in digital asset management products for high-end graphics providers, and from the mid 1970s to the early 1990s he held marketing, product and engineering management positions, respectively, at Shira America Corporation, Macdonald-Detweiller, and Harris Corporation, a major international communications equipment company. He holds a Bachelor degree from Pepperdine University and also attended University of Southern California. “Quickcut has a fabulous opportunity to build on its strong international foundation and global customer base by providing advertisers and publishers in North America with the only digital advertising solution that ensures perfection from page layout to print.
