Muller Martini Celebrates Production Of Its 2,000th Three-Knife Book Trimmer

Press release from the issuing company

Hauppauge, New York — Muller Martini recently produced its 2,000th three-knife trimmer for book production. The milestone-setting unit is a Merit S that is being installed at a production facility in Lachenmeier, Germany. Merit S and Zenith S are designed to complete the final cuts on perfect bound books and hardcover book blocks. They feature the shortest make-ready in their class, capable of going from job-to-job in less than three minutes. High trim quality and a top production speeds of 4,000 and 7,000 cycles per hour with a trim capacity of up to 3 1/8 inches are the other prime advantages of using a Merit S and Zenith S. “We salute our production and engineering staffs at our facilities in Switzerland for achieving the 2,000th trimmer milestone,” said Werner Naegeli, CEO and President of Muller Martini Corp. “The fact that we produced as many three-knife trimmers of one family of models is a tribute to the popularity and productivity of these Muller Martini systems. Muller Martini is committed to provide the best solutions for book manufacturers with a complete line of trimmers to suit every production requirement.”
