K/P Corporation Moves Salem Operations To New State-Of-The-Art, Centralized Facility
Press release from the issuing company
SALEM, OR (November, 2004) – To accommodate current growth, while planning for future expansion and technical advances that enhance services to meet customers' ever changing needs, K/P Corporation recently broke ground on a new 32,000 sq ft fulfillment, print and direct mail facility at 3150 Kettle Ct, SE in Salem, Oregon.
The new location will allow for consolidation of the operations that currently reside at two separate locations in Salem. It more than doubles K/P’s space and enables them to meet their customers’ increased requirements for marketing support services. The fulfillment center will be expanded with state-of-the-art racking systems, quadrupled square footage and enhanced security systems to protect customers' information and materials.
"This move is significant in many ways. Salem was K/P’s first established facility, and here we are, celebrating K/P’s 75th anniversary while at the very same time preparing to occupy this new state-of –the art facility. It’s quite a wonderful occasion!" said Anthony Burris, Director of Oregon operations. “This gives us the opportunity to reflect back on our past and appreciate how far we’ve come. Now, we can look forward to a future with expanded IT, database management capabilities and digital print.”
“The Salem expansion is one of many examples of our commitment to providing our clients a higher level of service” commented Orlando Boleda, Vice President, Northwest Operations. “Marketing communications programs are becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated. K/P will continue to advance both our offerings and our capacity in order to stay a few steps in front of our customers - ready with solutions that will create improved returns on their marketing investments.”
