SHELTON, Conn.--Nov. 15, 2004-- Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. announced that Mark T. Becker and Gerald A. Nathe were re-elected to the Company's Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders held in Trumbull last Tuesday. Mr. Becker, who also serves as Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee, is currently Chief Financial Officer of Sylvania Lighting International, a manufacturer of lighting fixtures. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Becker was Vice President and CFO of Sappi Fine Paper, NA. He has been a Director of the Company since 2001. Mr. Nathe, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has served as a Director of the Company since 1987. The Company also announced that at its meeting held November 9, 2004, the Board of Directors voted to elect Mr. Takayuki Miyaoku as a Vice President of the Company. Mr. Miyaoku has served as President of Baldwin Japan, Ltd. since 1999 and will continue to maintain an office at the Tokyo facilities. He is responsible for the Company's Asia operations, reporting directly to Gerald A. Nathe, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Miyaoku joined Baldwin Technology in 1997, with extensive experience in the heavy machine manufacturing industry including having worked for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for many years. The Board of Directors also re-elected the following executive officers: Gerald A. Nathe, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer; Vijay C. Tharani, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer; Karl S. Puehringer, Vice President; and Shaun J. Kilfoyle, Vice President.
