Digital Color Print Establishes a Taskforce to Expand Operations in Illinois

Press release from the issuing company

SANTA ANA, Calif.--Nov. 9, 2004-- Digital Color Print, Inc. announced earlier (9/01/04) that it was at the proposal stage with K Consulting & Marketing, Inc., an Illinois-based partner in regional development activities. These on-going discussions have expanded to include the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and Growth Dimensions, the Economic Development Group for Belvidere and Boone Counties. These deliberations have lead to the creation of a business development taskforce of DCPI and Rock River Valley technical and business executives. The Illinois representatives include collaboration between Economic Development Agencies, Higher Education Institutions, Government and Technical Support Organizations. The taskforce has defined a program to assist DCPI in further growing its enterprise of supplying digital printing systems and related products for the commercial printing industry. The program is a three-phased project, which will begin with establishing a Rockford, Il-based distribution center to supply consumable products to the Company's client base of commercial printers. Phase two will identify local manufacturing concerns to produce certain of the Companies patented and proprietary products. The third phase would establish a toner manufacturing operation that will produce color and specialty toners used by the Company's on-press digital color printing systems and certain other printers.
