Fox Printing Purchases Domino On Demand Variable Data Printing Solution At Graph Expo

Press release from the issuing company

November 2, 2004 -- Domino Amjet, Inc, the leading inkjet printer manufacturer and supplier of commercial printing system solutions, has reported that its recent attendance at Graphexpo proved very successful and resulted in a significant amount of new business. Among the deals concluded at the show, Domino sold one if its latest Domino ON Demand variable data print solutions to Fox Printing of Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The sale follows in the wake of a successful Labelexpo for Domino, where Domino ON Demand units were also sold. Fox Printing purchased a three-head Domino ON Demand system, two of which are solvent and the other UV, together with solvent and UV dryers. The print solution will be utilized in an in-line variable data application, printing folded mailers and CD envelopes on both a mailtable and folder. Hank Fox, President, at Fox Printing comments, “We had heard about the Domino ON Demand prior to Graphexpo and wanted to taker a closer look at its capabilities at the show. Having seen it in operation, we knew it was the answer to our needs and made the purchase at the booth. Nothing else comes close to it in terms of speed, quality or flexibility.” Dave Mardon, Commercial Director at Domino Amjet, Inc. explains that the sale to Fox Printing reflects Domino’s overall success at Graphexpo, which included orders for other key VDP products in Domino’s portfolio. “Our sales team were certainly kept busy throughout the show”, says Mardon. “In addition to the sale with Fox Printing, we also closed several deals for Bitjet+ binary printers with Editor GT controllers, all of which contributed to somewhere around $700,000 worth of business over the course of the four days.” This year’s Graphexpo was our best to date and, coming on the back of the excellent sales and leads that we picked up at Labelexpo in September and at drupa in May, has resulted in a very successful exhibition season for Domino.
