Thomas J. Reese Joins Applied Printing Technologies

Moonachie, NJ, October 12, 2004— Applied Printing Technologies (APT) announced today that Thomas J. Reese has joined the company as sales executive. In this capacity, Reese will be responsible for new business development and supporting APT’s existing customer base with a full complement of commercial and digital print production services. Reese brings to APT extensive experience in direct mail services and a talent for understanding the diverse communication needs of large enterprises. A 10-year veteran of direct mail services and production, Reese most recently held the position of business development manager for Jetson Direct Mail Services. Prior to that, he spent five years at USA Direct where he was responsible for new business development and marketing new products to target markets. Reese also brings extensive production experience to APT, having started his career as production manager for The Wessel Company. In this capacity, he directed all purchasing and production, as well as the negotiations involving printing contracts for incoming direct mail applications. “The expertise in direct mail and printing services that Tom brings to APT rounds out our team of sales professionals and that is really exciting to us,” said Jack Egan, senior vice president at APT. “Tom is an excellent communicator and his diverse experience will serve our customers well as they seek ways to creatively connect with customers through printed communications.” Reese holds an MBA with a concentration in marketing from Adelphi University, Garden City, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology in printing management and sciences.
