Enovation and EFI Deliver OneFlow Solution to Graphic Arts Professionals

Press release from the issuing company

CHICAGO--Oct. 11, 2004-- Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc., the nation's leading distributor to the graphic arts industry, is now offering version 2.0 of OneFlow(TM), the innovative workflow software from EFI. EFI OneFlow(TM) offers an easy-to-use, cost-effective solution for streamlining digital and offset printing and proofing with a range of advanced digital prepress tools. It is available now from Enovation's nationwide sales offices and can be configured for all levels of production capacity and output sizes. "EFI OneFlow offers an intuitive and easy to implement workflow solution to centralize and automate job management, prepress operations and digital and offset output," said Tim Combs, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Enovation Graphic Systems. "Our goal is to provide our customers with quality products that span the entire digital workflow process. EFI OneFlow software helps us meet that goal by offering a unique, highly cost-effective path for our customers to increase productivity and profitability." EFI OneFlow is the only PDF-based prepress software to provide centralized management of multiple digital, offset and inkjet printing devices. Geared initially for commercial printers in the 2-up and 4-up market, OneFlow allows users to build custom workflows and automate labor-intensive steps. An intuitive, icon-based graphical user interface lets users easily design a workflow path to handle prepress functions including preflighting, trapping, RIPping, imposition, soft proofing and more. Users can output to multiple devices, including production level and mid-range digital color/B&W copier/printers, CTP devices, filmsetters, DI presses and wide format inkjet printers. "The combination of Enovation technology and OneFlow delivers the efficiency and competitive advantages of digital technology at an affordable price. OneFlow's powerful job processing capabilities allow Enovation customers to streamline operations and provide complete management of both offset and digital printing technology from one interface," said Fred Rosenzweig, president of EFI. New features to EFI OneFlow 2.0 enable increased efficiency and prepress productivity with enhanced document quality and consistency. New integrated proofing software with Best(TM) technology provides superior color management and expanded connectivity for up to 50 proofing devices. EFI Impose(TM) offers fully integrated imposition capabilities to improve prepress efficiency, and the new Hybrid Screening tool enables AM and FM screening for professional-quality output. Additionally, interactive job management allows for on-the-fly workflow changes during the prepress process and new browser-based job tracking helps further increase throughput and job turn-around for even greater productivity. EFI OneFlow 2.0 will be on display at Graph Expo in Chicago Oct. 10-13, in the Enovation (#4042) and EFI (#4613) booths. About Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc.
