Tuebingen - January 7, 2008 - GMG, supplier of high-end color management and proofing solutions, today announced that the company had in 2007 been able to achieve two-figure sales growth for the fourth time in succession.
In the past 12 months of 2007, GMG increased its sales by more than 10% compared to 2006 - by 50% compared to 2005 and by more than 250% compared to 2004.
The greatest increases were recorded in Germany, Italy, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. However, sales also rose at an above-average rate in other countries and regions, e.g. in the UK, Benelux and Scandinavia.
As ever, the German-speaking area is still the largest and most important single market for GMG, accounting for roughly one-third of sales.
"We are once again pleased with the sales trend in 2007. Our continuous, ongoing growth since 2004 has been confirmed," says Robert Weihing, CEO of GMG GmbH & Co. KG. "We look to the future with great optimism in 2008, not least because of Drupa, which will totally dominate the scene this year. New products in the software and media sector will ensure that our growth continues. Our customers can very much look forward to coming to Drupa (GMG will have Booth A11 in Hall 8b), as it will give them the chance to see our new products with their own eyes."
