September 28, 2004 – COLOGNE (Photokina) – Only four months after a drupa launch where 95,000 visitors took samples of its innovative 3D technology for print and display production, HumanEyes Technologies debuts a companion application for photographers: HumanEyes Capture3D. HumanEyes Capture3D is a simple and automated application allowing photographers to use any digital camera to generate strikingly realistic 3D images for multiple uses - from packaging to backlit display and wide format, commercial signs.
Spectacular 3D images produced with HumanEyes software will be displayed on a 42-inch, 3D screen in the Creo/Leaf stand, located in Hall 14.2, Stand M-40.
Visitors will experience the entire 3D image creation workflow (from shooting to processing), and thousands of eye-catching 3D pictures will again be handed out to attendees. The presentation is the same as the one that greeted drupa visitors and caught the attention of companies like Epson and Hewlett-Packard. Most recently, HumanEyes announced that a version of its software has been optimized for Sharp 3D monitors and laptop displays.
Everything that can be done in 2D can be done with HumanEyes 3D. The technology eliminates all existing 3D limitations and brings a host of unique 3D capabilities, including:
- Shoot once, use many – suitable from stamp to billboard size;
- No limits on picture width, 3D landscapes up to 360? panorama;
- Cut and paste compositions retain the 3D nature of each item;
- Assembles different graphic photography (2D and 3D) into one impressive image.
To further efforts in creating and encouraging growth of 3D photography communities (i.e., networks of 3D photographers and printers serving advertising, packaging, marketing and vending markets), HumanEyes Technologies is adopting an aggressive introductory pricing model, beginning with a free trial version of HumanEyes Capture3D, for photographers.
Dramatic, Real 3D According to Donna Callighan of dcPHOTOdesigns (www.dcPHOTOdesigns.com), “HumanEyes 3D gives photographers like myself new capabilities; enabling us to offer our clients a tremendous array of options that will differentiate their products more than any new media or technology has in a long time. This is exciting stuff.”

HumanEyes Capture3D Applications
All advertising media, from 3D-capable electronic display to conventional print, packaging, backlit signs, and extra wide-format signs; can take advantage of the easiest and most powerful 3D photography, redefined by HumanEyes. HumanEyes Capture3D opens the door for photographers to expand their portfolio of capabilities and services. Says Gideon Ben-Zvi, HumanEyes CEO, “Until now, few photographers have ventured into 3D due to cost as well as
specialty equipment and set-up required by traditional methods. Plus, the images captured using traditional 3D are limited to a specific application. HumanEyes simplifies the capture and output of realistic 3D, breathing new life into the commercial stereoscopic photography category.”
