Digital Color Print Announces Software Product Manager

SANTA ANA, Calif.--Aug. 25, 2004-- DIGITAL COLOR PRINT, INC., is pleased to announce that MR. ROB PETTY has been appointed manager of software products for its' operating group, Logical Imaging Solutions ("LIS"). Mr. Petty will be responsible for the continued expansion and support of the Company's proprietary software product, "CREATE!". LIS's software enables the electronic real-time creation of variable alphanumeric and graphic images and manages the on-press plate-free printing process, all under direct customer control. Mr. Petty brings experience in product development and commercialization, as tools to support and further advance "CREATE!", which was first released in 1993.
Further, Mr. Petty will also lead the software development for the next-generation product, "DIGITALCOLORPRESS", a toner-based multiple printer configuration that allows the high-speed and on-press printing of variable data in COLOR.
LIS is committed to the development and production of high-speed digital printing systems that are installed on existing commercial offset printing presses. LIS's systems augment the capabilities of the printing press by providing the ability to print variable data such as barcodes, numbers, graphics, text and forms. This variable imaging capability is in line with the conventional offset printing process of producing non-variable images from inked printing plates.
