Color Management Explained In IPA Webinar Series

Press release from the issuing company

(August 23, 2004) IPA announces a five-week program designed to educate all staff levels to become conversant on the basics of color management and its importance to the quality and consistency of graphics and printed results. This exciting new series will clearly examine why sales, production, press operators, and management need to understand what color management really entails and what color management means to your company and customers. Each program in the series, which runs for five-consecutive weeks beginning September 8, is approximately one-hour long and can easily be implemented as a luncheon seminar in your conference room. This IPA Webinar series is presented by Abhay Sharma, associate professor of imaging engineering and color management at Western Michigan University, and author of the book "Understanding Color Management." All companies registering for the complete series of programs will receive a free copy of this instructive manual. Discounted copies are available for individual programs or for multiple copies. More information can be found at www.ipa.org/color or by calling 800-255-8141.
