Press release from the issuing company
August 17, 2004 -- Exstream Software, Inc. announced today an agreement with Blue Turtle Technologies of South Africa giving Blue Turtle distribution rights to the company’s products in South Africa. Under the terms of the agreement, Blue Turtle will offer Dialogue, WebVerse, AFP Studio, and future Exstream products as part of its solution set for managing the challenges of today’s IT infrastructures. Exstream chose Blue Turtle because of their expertise in document output and management, and their proven success in the banking, financial services, insurance and other key markets in South Africa. Blue Turtle expects to benefit by offering best-in-class document creation and personalization software and integration services to their customers.
The agreement opens new opportunities for Blue Turtle to offer fully variable customized document solutions in response to market demand from customers in South Africa. Blue Turtle identified Dialogue as the premier software solution for effectively satisfying this requirement. Dialogue makes it possible for companies to create and deliver any kind of personalized communication from high-volume complex statements, to on demand direct marketing and fulfillment and correspondence generated interactively over the Internet. Its ease of use and robust features significantly shorten application development time so companies immediately benefit from up to 50 percent faster time to market, up to 80 percent reduced costs and improved customer retention.
“Exstream’s Dialogue is a software architecture which allows many people to work on the same application at once, all working independently of each other. Using an intuitive graphical interface, designers and business users can develop personalized documents and web applications, create business rules and define production characteristics,” says Martyn Healy, director of Blue Turtle Technologies. “Leading international companies across a range of key markets are successfully using Dialogue to create all their personalized customer communications. We will collaborate closely with our customers in implementing Dialogue to architect solutions that are uniquely tailored to their specific industry needs.”
“Through this agreement, we join Blue Turtle Technologies in its commitment to offer customers in South Africa solutions that are easy to use, quick to implement and provide the best in personalized document creation,” said Steve Whitman, general manager of international sales and operations, Exstream Software. “Exstream’s products expand Blue Turtle’s excellent integration capabilities and we are confident this agreement will benefit its customers in many ways.”
