Top Xerox Executives Visit Print Write Now!

Press release from the issuing company

Ruidoso, NM , August 12, 2004: Print Write Now! received a visit from Xerox Western Region Vice President of Sales, Elizabeth D. Stafford, who was accompanied by Pat Houser, High Volume Production Equipment Specialist on Thursday, August 12th. It is rare that an executive of this level will visit small print shops, especially in remote locations such as Ruidoso. “This print shop is so neat and organized, unlike many that have the appearance of a typical ‘sweat-shop’,” commented Stafford as she visited with David Horton, one of the graphic designers of Print Write Now! She briefly chatted with several other employees before conducting her meeting with print shop owner Laura Reynolds and manager Stacy Wren. Reynolds teamed with Xerox in 2002 to bring in quality, state of the art digital presses. New technology available for print-on-demand and just-in-time printing services, including variable data merge techniques, are features only capable through digital printing. Print Write Now!’s success is reflected by their consistently increased volume and quality full process color digital prints output from the Xerox DocuColor digital press equipment. Over 90 percent of the printed materials designed and sold are produced in her Ruidoso print shop, not outsourced to out-of-town vendors. This was Liz Stafford’s first visit to Ruidoso, traveling from her Sacramento, CA, office. After seeing the present development, she looks forward to returning in the future and experiencing the many attractions the area offers.
