August 3, 2004 -- Networked Graphic Production(tm) is pleased to welcome Quark, Inc., WAVE Corporation, and Olive Inc. as the newest members of the industry-wide initiative that is devoted to increasing efficiency in the print production cycle through automation, integration, and cross-vendor interoperability by utilizing the CIP4 JDF standard.
With 46 partners now, Networked Graphic Production spans the international print industry with partners that develop creative software, print-publishing, content-management, and management-information systems; build digital asset management systems; and manufacture prepress, printing presses, and post-press finishing systems.
"NGP continues to grow with new partners who see NGP with its many partners working together, as the best organization to bring JDF integration to market," said Filip Buyse, Chair of Networked Graphic Production. "By applying the power of JDF through an open, international print industry organization, these partners know they can achieve the goal of bringing to market ROI-based integration to our common customers."
