Roger Gimbel Forms Consultancy to Help Printers Grow Their Digital Businesses

August 2, 2004 -- Roger Gimbel announced the launch of a new consultancy business – Roger P. Gimbel & Associates. The company will focus on helping commercial printers develop and operate successful digital printing businesses. Mr. Gimbel was previously Director of Worldwide Marketing for Global Document Solutions, where he oversaw the global marketing efforts for one of the largest companies in the document services industry. He was also President of XRC, Inc. Mr. Gimbel has continually maintained a high level of productivity in his corporations by utilizing leading-edge technologies. He was one of the first commercial printers to enter the print on demand business, and had the first Xerox DocuTech device installed outside of Xerox in the United States in 1990. In 2002, Mr. Gimbel was chosen by Xerox as the first beta site outside of Rochester, New York for the iGen3 device. In 2000, Mr. Gimbel was presented with the prestigious "Pioneer of the Decade" award for his outstanding contributions to the digital printing industry. More recently, he was honored with the "Technical Excellence Award" at Mailcom 2004. Mr. Gimbel currently serves as the Chairman and Director of International Print Network (IPN) and as Board Member for the Xplor Northeast Region. In 2003, he was invited to become a member of the Xerox Joint Technology Council and the Xerox Premier Partner Advisory Board.
