Deadline Extended For Printing Innovation With Xerox Imaging Awards

August 2, 2004 -- The deadline for Xerox Corporation's 2004 Printing Innovation with Xerox Imaging Awards has been extended to August 27, giving customers an extra two weeks to submit their innovative digital printing applications. The awards, designed to honor excellence and innovation in digital printing, also recognize new uses of technology and variable information that have helped graphic arts professionals increase print volume, revenue and communication effectiveness for their customers. Winners will be announced in Chicago at Graph Expo 2004 on Oct. 10, with the winner of "Best of Show" receiving a first-class travel prize package. The contest is open to printing applications produced on Xerox digital equipment and submissions will be judged by an independent panel on overall aesthetics, business effectiveness, use of digital technology, and degree of innovation. Categories for this year's competition include variable print/1:1 marketing communications; short-run digital color; and digital books and manuals. Entries must be received by midnight August 27, 2004. There is no fee for entering or for multiple submissions.
