Press release from the issuing company

VANCOUVER, B.C., CANADA -- December 17, 2003 -- The Creo Users Association (CUA) will feature a new Learning Track with special courses on workflow prroductivity, Staccato screening, and network management during the annual conference to be held February 25 to 28, 2004 in Vancouver, Canada. CUA Quote... Creo product specialists, who have extensive field experience from working with customers at their sites, will instruct each course in Creo's state-of-art training facility in Vancouver. "These courses will provide Creo users with a great foundation for their many opportunities to interact with Creo developers throughout the conference," says Chris Illa, CUA director. "They will be able to share information at a much higher level with other users, and they will learn from the experiences of other Creo users." Workflow Productivity Courses... The workflow productivity courses will present the latest features of the new versions of the Prinergy and Brisque workflow management systems. These courses are intended for prepress personnel already using these systems and are designed to transform them into power users. The field product specialists will focus on features that they see being underutilized or misunderstood at customer sites. Staccato Screening Course... Implementing Staccato screening is the subject of a concentrated version of the standard course on Staccato screening offered to Creo customers. It is designed for Creo users who have already purchased Staccato screening and want to understand how to use this innovative technology more effectively. Managing Your Network Course... The final course, "Managing Your Network," is ideal for the technical guru who is expected to be the in-house expert on integrating hardware and software systems, to understand how it all works together, and to ensure network security and stability. Creo network specialists will define the IT challenges that have emerged as prepress has gone digital; including security, risk reduction, and smooth installation. Participants will learn how to make adjustments to their own network to ensure peace of mind. Availability... The courses are scheduled on February 25, 2004, the first day of the Creo Users Association conference. Limited registration for each course (cost US$200 each) is available by contacting [email protected]
