Goss International receives award for innovation

Press release from the issuing company

December 15th, 2003 – At the 2003 GATF InterTech Technology Awards Dinner in San Antonio, Texas on November 15, Goss International was presented with a Lucite InterTech star for its Goss Digital Inking system. Chosen from among 40 nominations, the Goss Digital Inking System is a highly accurate, low waste inking system for web offset printing presses. It was commended in particular for its RIP presetting functionality, its closed system, which eliminates impurities and its ability to be retrofitted onto older presses. User benefits include minimum start-up waste, ideal utilization of RIP pre-setting accuracy, consistent repeatability of pre-sets, perfect ‘zero settings’, accurate control of small images and press cleanliness. Goss Worldwide Marketing Director, David Stamp collected the award, commenting: "Goss International has a long term focus on 'Innovation for Business'. Within this, we have endeavored to broaden the reach of our Goss Digital Inking Systems to allow aftermarket upgrade of existing presses, as well as offering this superior inking system on new presses. We were delighted that our efforts with our Digital Inking system for web offset presses have been recognized in the 2003 GATF InterTech Technology Awards."
