Press release from the issuing company

December 15, 2003 -- Exstream Software, Inc., a high performance enterprise personalization software company, has joined IBM’s ISV Advantage Initiative, a program designed to provide independent software vendors (ISVs) with technical and marketing support to help meet the specific information technology (IT) needs of small and medium business (SMB) companies. Customers are seeking solutions that help them better integrate processes and applications internally and externally and allow them to quickly respond to changing market opportunities on demand. Exstream’s products include its award-winning Dialogue software, Dialogue WebVerse and AFP Studio, a complete set of utilities and applications for AFP environments. Dialogue is an enterprise personalization software which generates all types of personalized communications for delivery through multiple print and electronic channels. From high-volume complex statements to on-demand marketing pieces and interactive correspondence, Dialogue enables businesses across a diverse range of industries to create and deliver any kind of personalized communication in any volume. Dialogue WebVerse is a complete web environment that helps businesses create personalized letters, proposals, statements, policies, enrollment kits and other types of fulfillment interactively in real-time. Exstream’s AFP Studio gives companies the ability to enhance the content and delivery of AFP documents originating from various business applications with accuracy and consistency. Enabling Dialogue and Dialogue WebVerse on IBM’s WebSphere* platform will help Exstream expand into the SMB market faster and more effectively than is possible with proprietary platforms. “Exstream’s product line and services easily complement IBM’s full range of advanced technology, offering small and medium businesses a strong infrastructure that will increase productivity and profitability across the enterprise,” said Davis Marksbury, president and CEO of Exstream Software. “It is very exciting for Exstream to collaborate with IBM to offer integrated solutions that will help companies improve the quality of their customer communications.” The IBM WebSphere family includes products that are designed and priced specifically for small and medium businesses—easy to install and manage, scalable to grow with a business, rich in functionality and based on open standards to allow integration with existing software and hardware platforms. Exstream will also work closely with IBM to expand its visibility in target vertical industries through various co-marketing and sales activities.
