Velocity Exchange is an online application for print providers and customers that automates print job order management for a more productive workflow. Through a secure, controlled interface, customers can submit job orders online and track progress with real-time job status updates. Once orders are submitted a range of digital tools enhance the in-shop workflow from order receiving to remote proofing to approvals.
"Velocity Exchange offers greater accuracy, efficiency, collaboration and cost savings for the Franchise Services, Inc. network and their customers," said Frank Mallozzi, VP of Worldwide Sales at EFI. "Sir Speedy and PIP Printing franchises will be able to manage their workflow seamlessly from order management to production, resulting in greater control over their business costs and increased customer satisfaction."
Velocity Exchange is designed to integrate seamlessly with EFI's full Velocity(TM) workflow software line, including Velocity OneFlow(TM) for pre-press and computer-to-plate (CTP) workflows and Velocity Balance(TM) for digital print production workflows. EFI's complete suite of end-to-end solutions will enable Sir Speedy and PIP Printing franchises and their customers to benefit from a truly automated system that links ordering to print production to print shop management.
