Komori Survivor Series Seminars Provide Productivity Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

(July 31, 2003 Rolling Meadows, IL) Komori America Corporation announced today that they are conducting a series of seminars in their Rolling Meadows, IL, facility that will provide information on tools available to enhance productivity in the pressroom. Topics in the “Komori Survivor Series” include CIM, color management and screening technologies. “Printers need to incorporate tools in their workflow that will help them achieve greater levels of productivity and quality, especially in today’s highly competitive marketplace,” says Douglas Schardt, Komori Product Manager. “When you combine these tools with the state of the art technology of the Komori press, you’ve got a formidable arsenal to surpass the competition.” Each seminar will include a live demonstration of a Komori press. The first of three seminars will be held on August 27, and will provide information on CIM and JDF workflow followed by a demonstration of the 2003 GATF InterTech Award winning press, the Lithrone S40. On October 15, attendees will learn about the latest screening technologies and on December 10 color management techniques will be covered, followed by demonstrations of the Komori Lithrone SP Super Perfector and the Lithrone 28P. “By incorporating the seminar topics into the press demonstration format, attendees will get to see first hand how the tools can be implemented in their pressrooms,” Schardt concludes.
