DPI Launches Digital UV Printing Information Center

Press release from the issuing company

July 14 -- FAIRFAX, VA -- The Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) has launched a Digital UV Printing Information Center in the members only area of Association’s Web site at DPIA.org. The Digital UV Printing Information Center is a joint effort with the Screenprinting & Graphic Imaging Association International (SGIA), and RadTech, the association of UV technology developers, to bring to Association members the latest on digital UV printing technology. Now DPI members can visit the Center at DPIA.org to determine how digital UV could impact their production line and their business. “ The purpose of the Center is to provide technology users with the information they need to make informed decisions about this developing technology, its equipment and market opportunities,” says DPI President & CEO Mike Robertson.. The Center provides a listing of digital UV output devices that are currently available, informative articles about the technology, and other information for early adopters of digital UV technology. “We want to support and encourage the development of UV technologies in the digital imaging industry by sharing information,” says Dan Marx, DPI Director of Communications and Service Development. “An up-to-date, expanding Center on the Association’s Web site is the perfect forum for the information sharing process.” As digital UV technology continues to grow, so will the Center. SGIA/DPI, in partnership with RadTech, is committed to supplying digital imaging professionals with the best information available.
