Image Arrangers Selects RealTimeImage For New Virtual Proofing Service
Press release from the issuing company
Minneapolis MN & San Bruno, CA -- June 30, 2003 -- Image Arrangers, a leading creative services company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota; has selected RealTimeImage's RealTimeProof technology as its new virtual proofing service to support its publication, agency and private label packaging customers, the two companies announced today.
Image Arrangers' new virtual proofing solution will be marketed under the name MYPROOF.COM. Launched in June, the service enables customers to view, mark-up and collaborate in real time on full-resolution graphics and photo projects prior to production. According to Tom Austin, CEO of Image Arrangers, "The reality today is that the more you are able to reduce time to market, the greater your competitive advantage. Our RealTimeProof virtual proofing service will reduce our customers' costs and time associated with hardcopy analog proofs, as well as offer a superb communications tool that will work to further compress the production turnaround cycle."
"It's cutting-edge companies with progressive customer service philosophies, like Image Arrangers, who are fueling the growing adoption of online proofing workflows," says Yehuda Messinger, RealTimeImage's Executive Vice President, Graphic Arts. "We look forward to supporting Image Arrangers' success in bringing RealTimeProof to its customers."
Image Arrangers selected RealTimeProof Express, the latest addition to RealTimeImage's suite of web-based, collaborative proofing and approval management solutions. RealTimeProof revolutionizes the classic proofing cycle by enabling workflow partners to collaborate online, in real time on original, full-resolution production files.
Based on RealTimeImage's breakthrough image streaming technology, Pixels-On-Demand, gigabytes of high-resolution files can be viewed in seconds even over a dial-up connection. Users need only a web browser on a Mac or PC and a free, downloadable plug-in to proof their original files from anywhere, at anytime. RealTimeProof Express streams high-resolution data directly from local file storage, while offering a complete approval management workflow through the Oracle powered RealTimeProof site.
Assisting Image Arrangers in implementing the RealTimeProof Express technology is S-NET, Inc., a leading systems integration company. "We assisted Image Arrangers in extensive evaluations of various related technologies and, as is usual for S-Net and its customers, determined that RealTimeProof offers the most effective approach. The Pixels-On-Demand technology is formidable - no one else provides this level of accuracy and collaborative capability," said Ken Filarski, S-Net CEO.
