Upcoming Print Solutions 2003 Conference & Expo Highlights

June 20, 2003 -- Alexandria, VA -- The annual meeting of the independent segment of the document industry, the 2003 Print Solutions Conference & Expo, will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Hilton during October 21 – 24. The agenda includes a total of twenty-two (22)Conference and Industry Education Sessions, three roundtable discussion, two networking receptions, and two General Sessions; plus a two-day Expo with over four hundred (400) booths of participating manufacturers and suppliers. The Conference & Expo begins on Tuesday, October 21 with meetings of the five industry Special Interest Groups (SIGs). The Conference swings into high gear on Wednesday, October 22 with the Awards Breakfast at 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. The remainder of the schedule on Wednesday includes a General Session Lunch, three hour-long education sessions, and the Opening Reception hosted by MeadWestvaco. Participants have a choice from among nine different topics, including a roundtable discussion on sales management. By Thursday, October 23, the Conference will have full momentum, with eight choices of conference/industry sessions being offered, one of them a roundtable on evolving technology. At 10:45 a.m. there is a General Session, followed by the Expo Opening Ceremony. The Expo, with more than 400 booths, is open from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m. Thursday concludes with a reception hosted by Appleton Papers. Friday, October 24 offers eight learning sessions, including a roundtable discussion for suppliers. The Conference & Expo concludes on Friday afternoon with Expo hours being 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The 2003 Print Solutions Conference & Expo, the 58th consecutive annual get-together of the independent segment of the document industry, is sponsored each year by the Document Management Industries Association (DMIA). DMIA provides equal representation for the suppliers, manufacturers and distributors who form the independent segment of the document industry, which controls over one-half the production and distribution of documents and related products and services in North America.
