Presstek Extends Its Successful Open House Series Through the Remainder of 2007
Press release from the issuing company
HUDSON, N.H., Aug. 16 -- Presstek, Inc., the leading manufacturer and marketer of digital offset printing business solutions, today announced that it has extended the road show schedule for its popular series of open house events. These events provide printing industry professionals with valuable information on how they can make their businesses more capable, profitable and competitive through the adoption of digital offset printing technology.
Matt Doran, president of Anstadt Printing in York, Pa., attended a Presstek open house to consider the Presstek 34DI as a potential solution to help produce a wider range of print applications. "Our customers were asking for shorter runs and tighter turn times and were unwilling to sacrifice quality," said Doran. "After installing the Presstek 34DI, we found we could cost-effectively deliver extremely high quality print runs, while improving the productivity of our traditional offset press for longer print runs. Adding Presstek's press to the mix has broadened our revenue streams to include short-run projects, press proofs and ultra-long-run projects that we previously could not produce profitably. Our DI press has positioned us to be a more diversified printing supplier to our clients."
"We have found over the years that a live demonstration is one of the most effective ways for a printer to learn how our solutions can benefit their business," said Brian Wolfenden, director of marketing communications for Presstek. "These open houses present the chance for potential customers to see demonstrations in an informal setting at a location that is convenient to them."
Throughout the course of the year, Presstek hosts open houses across the country to provide hands-on demonstrations of Presstek's digital offset printing solutions. These open houses feature Presstek's 52DI digital offset press as well as their Dimension Excel and Vector TX52 chemistry-free CTP and workflow solutions. The sessions are designed to show how Presstek's solutions increase print productivity and profitability while competitively meeting today's market demand for fast turn around high quality, offset color printing.
