XMPie Appoints Prominent Wharton School Professor to Board of Directors

Reibstein to XMPie’s Board of Directors. The appointment will provide XMPie’s board and management team with unique opportunity to tap the expertise of one the industry's leading marketing academics.        “Professor Reibstein’s addition to XMPie’s board is a significant step for the company,” said Michael O’Hara, CEO of XMPie. “Having authored close to a dozen publications on marketing, research in Internet marketing, and competitive marketing strategy, XMPie couldn't have asked for a more qualified individual to join our board.”        David J. Reibstein is the William S. Woodside Professor and Professor of Marketing at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and currently teaches marketing management and marketing research in Wharton’s MBA program. Prior, he was the Julian Aresty Professor of Marketing, Vice Dean, and Director of the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania. He has developed and coordinated Wharton’s Executive Seminars on New Product Development, Competitive Marketing Strategies, Advanced Industrial Marketing strategy, and Marketing Research. Prior to his appointment at Wharton, he was Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Harvard Business School and a Visiting Professor of Marketing at INSEAD at Fontainebleau, France, and at Stanford University. Professor Reibstein has been featured in Fortune magazine as one of the nations’ eight “Favorite Business School Professors” and was recently named by Business Week as on of the “pick of the B-school crop” of professors.  He has received the Wharton School’s Excellence in Teaching Award every year he has taught since it was initiated in 1982.   “It’s been an honor to have been appointed to XMPie’s board of directors,” said Professor Reibstein. “XMPie has a unique combination of talent, leadership, and technology—a combination that I feel, can only mean success.
