XMPie Appoints Prominent Wharton School Professor to Board of Directors

New York, NY, June 3, 2003 – XMPie, a leading provider of software solutions for creating highly effective one-to-one cross-media marketing campaigns, today announced appointment of Professor David J. Reibstein to XMPie’s Board of Directors. The appointment will provide XMPie’s board and management team with unique opportunity to tap the expertise of one the industry's leading marketing academics.

David J. Reibstein is the William S. Woodside Professor and Professor of Marketing at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and currently teaches marketing management and marketing research in Wharton’s MBA program. Prior, he was the Julian Aresty Professor of Marketing, Vice Dean, and Director of the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania. He has developed and coordinated Wharton’s Executive Seminars on New Product Development, Competitive Marketing Strategies, Advanced Industrial Marketing strategy, and Marketing Research.
Prior to his appointment at Wharton, he was Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Harvard Business School and a Visiting Professor of Marketing at INSEAD at Fontainebleau, France, and at Stanford University. Professor Reibstein has been featured in Fortune magazine as one of the nations’ eight “Favorite Business School Professors” and was recently named by Business Week as on of the “pick of the B-school crop” of professors. He has received the Wharton School’s Excellence in Teaching Award every year he has taught since it was initiated in 1982.
