Archer to Offer Online ASP for Customers & National Print Network

NEW YORK, May 28 -- Archer Management Services, an Oce Company and national leader in document management and mailroom outsourcing services, today announced the availability of Archer Web Direct, a new service offering that enables Archer customers to submit, manage and print documents via the Internet to a national network of Archer-certified print production centers. The new service can save enterprises and organizations up to 50 percent in costs by eliminating the need to ship printed material by overnight courier or first-class mail.
Through the Archer Web Direct service, users can send electronic files 24 hours a day, seven days a week to one of the Archer-certified print-production centers in major cities throughout the U.S. To save time, streamline workflow and ensure print accuracy, the service provides on-line proofing and job cost estimating, and allows users to track order status at anytime via a Web browser or e-mail updates. Archer Web Direct supports a broad range of printed material and Archer will add new print production centers to its national network based on customer requests and preferences.

Detailed reports that outline production, usage and billing data provide useful information for departmental cost allocation or per use billing.

The service also makes documents available at the location of need faster, as print production takes place where documents are needed rather than where they are created.
